The City Council of Fort Worth is currently deliberating on a proposed economic development incentive aimed at facilitating the expansion of ITS Logistics, a leading supply chain logistics and technology company. The company is eyeing new office space to support their innovative ContainerAI platform, designed to enhance container management and visibility for their clients.

As part of their expansion plans, ITS Logistics is prepared to invest up to $1 million in tenant improvements and related expenses. They have also committed to hiring between 250 to 339 new full-time employees by the end of 2027, with a requirement that 30% of these new hires must be residents of Fort Worth.

To support this growth, the City of Fort Worth is considering entering into a three-year economic development agreement with ITS Logistics, with incentives not exceeding $847,500. These incentives would be tied to employment targets, with the company eligible to receive $2,500 for each new full-time job created with a minimum wage of $100,000.

ITS Logistics, already a significant player in the logistics industry, is recognized for its rapid growth and innovation. The company currently employs 800 individuals across the nation and boasts an impressive annual revenue of $1 billion. Ranked 19th on Transport Topics' list of Top Freight Brokerage Firms in North America and 1,751st on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., ITS Logistics is poised for further expansion.

The final decision on the proposed incentive package for ITS Logistics is scheduled to be made by the City Council on Tuesday, May 14.
